Ceramic Tiles
The history of ceramic tile can be traced back to 4000 years ago, whether it is the decorative tile work of Persia, majolica floor tiles of the Italian renaissance, the mosaics of Spain, or the tile iconography of the Netherlands. Although our modern ceramic tiles have had humble beginnings, as plain white or beige color square tiles often seen in kitchens and bathrooms, they eventually evolved into all sorts of shape, sizes, color, and design so that they can finally make their way across other parts of our home.
